In this busy world, it is often difficult to find others who have the time, the inclination or the skills to listen.

It can be helpful to have someone with a calm, quiet presence outside of your normal life to talk to when things get overwhelming, and reassuring to know that you can find effective and compassionate help.

I am a clinically licensed Master Social Worker specializing in anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse, and trauma work.

I work with people around major life changes and losses to help them recover their sense of themselves and to be able to imagine a path forward with hope and resilience.

I am knowledgeable of 12-step programs and provide a nonjudgmental and collaborative environment in which to work through difficult issues.

My experience in being a part of many individuals’ trauma work, whether professionally or through volunteer work, has been particularly valuable and I believe I can bring these skills to good use in supporting others as they realize their own goals.

I invite you to call or e-mail me to take that first step toward your own path of healing and can assure you that you will be greeted with a friendly face and supportive voice on the other side.
