"Every human behavior makes sense. Given enough context, we can start to understand even the most troubling, nonsensical, and self-sabotaging behavior.”

Lindsay earned her Master of Family Therapy degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Atlanta. She trained extensively at the Mercer Family Therapy Center, where she worked with couples and individuals in a clinic setting. She also received training at Embark Behavioral Health, a PHP/IOP program working with young adults, adolescents, and their families.

Lindsay’s approach to therapy is systemic and integrative, which addresses people within the context of their relationships. Pulling from psychodynamic and relational therapies, she pays close attention to patterns, and looks to understand a person’s full story before examining the “issue” that brings the client in. With a warm, curious and collaborative approach, her ultimate goal is for clients to feel validated, supported and understood.

My professional journey is deeply influenced by a commitment to understanding the intricacies of the human experience. My clients would describe me as personable, relaxed, authentic, compassionate and understanding. I find listening to be incredibly important as a therapist - and at the same time, I also value challenging my clients in a supportive way to encourage insight and personal growth.

Lindsay sees couples, families, and individuals (17+) and is under the supervision of Ansley Campbell, MA, LMFT and the direction of Laurie Newcomb, MA, LPC , NCC, CCTP.
